My friend started her own candle company and came to me for help with creative direction & photography to launch her first candle.
I asked her to describe her brand and first product in a few keywords: handmade, natural, astrology, community, gifting, zodiac essence. Product Description: This Cancer Zodiac Sign scented candle by EverHours makes the perfect gift for any Cancerian in your life. Made from premium soy wax, this toasted marshmallow and coconut scented candle features the imagery of a warm, summer evening on the beach.
Based on this brief, I concepted the moodboard and shot list for the shoot, chose the location, and shot and retouched the final photogaphy. She was so happy with the outcome she wanted to have me do the rest of her candle launches.
